Catapalooza, Inc.

Catapalooza, Inc

Thank you for being interested in learning more about us.

We started as a grass roots, neighborhood group out of necessity to help out a couple of kittens that were discarded in a shopping bag.  That was just two short years ago.  Now, here we are here as a registered 501c3 organization that has helped hundreds of cats and kittens find their furever homes in the East Orlando communities in which we live, work, and play.   What began as a good deed has turned into a passion for a small group of  women and we continue to grow our reach and work tirelessly to extend our reach so that we can find homeless cats and kittens the furever homes they deserve.

Our Official Purpose in our bylaws states:

Catapalooza, Inc. is organized for charitable and education services, more specifically to promote humane care and treatment of abandoned, abused and unwanted cats and kittens in Orlando, FL, and to educate the public regarding responsible companion animal care and the importance of spaying and neutering.  In addition, Catapalooza, Inc. may also offer a rescue and adoption program.

The Purpose of Catapalooza, Inc is to:

1.      Rescue animals from situations that are abusive, endangering or neglectful.

2.      Provide necessary veterinary care.

3.      Place rescued animals into permanent adoptive homes.

4.      Educate and promote the importance of spaying/neutering companion animals.

5.      Provide community outreach in the form of Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) and/or assistance with spay/neuter of companion animals.

Catapalooza, Inc. will endeavor to maximize the percentage of its operating budget, which directly benefits rescued animals, including the spaying and neutering of cats.  Fundraising to support this will be achieved through solicitation and acceptance of contributions from individuals and other methods or events as the Board of Directors of the Organization desire to utilize.
