My name is Argento, it means Silver - it is referring to my gorgeous color. 

I was found as a friendly stray in an Avalon neighborhood and I begged someone to rescue me.

I got sick while I was looking for my owner and spent a lot of time recovering from my Upper Respiratory infection. 

Unfortunately, my sickness left me with a bad eye. I spent lots of time with Dr Denis at Animal Eye Associates and she said I had Feline Herpes in my eyes.  She is amazing and put me on all kinds of medicine to help get me better.  She says my bad eye may still be weepy at times because I still produce tears, but my tear duct is blocked so they have no where to go. 

Other than that, I am happy and healthy and ready to go home with you.  My eye shouldn't require any ongoing care unless the virus flares up in a time of stress.  If that happens, some lubricating (preservative Free) eye drops and some Terramycin ointment from Tractor Supply should get me back on the way to recovery.  If not, then you might need to see your vet to get some Idoxuridine 0.1% drops.  

Adoption fee includes well exam, De-Worming, Flea Treatment, Spay/Neuter, age appropriate vaccines, and FIV/FelV testing.
